Blackberry Jam Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:

Italian Bread
Butter
Fontina Cheese
Pecorino Romano
Blackberry Jam

Heat a griddle to 300° F or place a pan over medium high heat.

Slice your bread in half length-wise and spread melted butter on the inside of the bread. Place your bread butter-side down on the heat & allow to warm & become golden brown & lightly toasted.

While the bread is warming, slice your Fontina and shave your Pecorino Romano.

Spread melted butter on the tops of both bread and flip. Add your cheeses to the bottom slice and spread the Blackberry Jam to your top slice. Close your sandwich & place a heavy pan or press on top of the sandwich. Once the base becomes golden brown flip the sandwich and place the pan or press over the sandwich once again.

Once cheese is fully melted and both sides of the bread are golden remove from heat and serve immediately.
